Who loves pesto? Who loves shrimp? Who loves butter? Who loves garlic? Who loves fresh grape tomatoes? I know I do, so I mixed them all together. Can I get an amen? 🙂 Not yet? Okay, you gotta try this dinner!
This recipe whips up really quick for a nice family meal! Cause after a long work day, ain’t nobody got time for that!
From my home to yours, here’s the recipe! Enjoy!
1 package thin spaghetti
3/4 stick of butter
2 tablespoons minced garlic
1 pound large shrimp – uncooked
1/4 cup white cooking wine
1 6oz jar Barilla Pesto sauce
2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
15 grape tomatoes
Pinch of salt and pepper
In large sauce pan, melt butter on medium high heat. Add minced garlic. Stir then add the cooking wine, juice of lemon, and tomatoes. Cover, turn heat down to medium stirring occasionally for 5 minutes.
Turn heat back up to Medium High and add the shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are completely pink. Once they are fully cooked, shut off heat and remove from burner. Set aside and replace cover.
Cook spaghetti as directed on the package. Once the pasta is cooked, strain and add it back to the pot.
Remove shrimp and tomatoes from the sauce pan to a new plate.
Add all the drippings from the sauce pan into the spaghetti and mix.
Next add the pesto sauce. Mix then add the Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper, and mix again.
Transfer the shrimp and tomatoes into the pasta and mix well.
ENJOY! Dinner is served!
